I love this movie. Each time I watch it, I always adore the beginning and hope the end will be different. When she wakes up right before he dies is like Kapow! I just got punched in the face with heart ache.

I love saving images of models and fashion campaigns on my laptop because I think they make a great source for sketchbooking and just playing around. I normally save pictures like this and when I was looking at this one, I just had to stop and stare at those shoes.

Don't they remind you of the neck of velociraptor? Or that thing on a lizards neck?

Here are some 10 minute watercolor studies

I still haven't started the painting of Arsenic and Old Lace buuuuut at least I have the color study right?! Haha I'm a little behind in my work. I'm in that stage where I have lots of projects and I keep doing a little bit on each which takes a lot of time. But tomorow I am going to focus solely on illustration. I want to work on my conceptual celebrity portrait, start painting Arsenic and Old Lace, and do some work on a technology piece.

I'm kinda blabbing for no reason, but when I write it, it seems more official. Haha

I just started this today. Well really last week, I spent all day thumbnailing and came up with a completly different idea, that I worked on for 3 hours during illustration class. Trashed that. And started doing this earlier while watching Desperate Housewives on lifetime. (and people say t.v. rots your brains...)

It's needs a lot of work but here is what I have so far. I want to add some texture, light and shadow, and faces, and I need to add the title "Arsenic and Old Lace" as well. I'll post the finished version later this week!

sketchbook dump

This was my breakfast in Pratt's morning class, haha

We had a 3 hour assignment in Pratt's class. Okay I won't lie...I'm definitely being influenced by Mary Blair a lot lately!
